Ed Enck founded S-arch (formerly Sun Design Concepts) nearly 31 years ago. Beginning with a Civil Engineering degree and progressing through Master’s Degrees in both engineering and architecture, Ed has learned to combined his artistic and pragmatic skills into an ability to sketch out the essence of an idea on a napkin and then transform it into a functional, practical, and imaginative built environment while wading through the quagmire of government bureaucracy, budgetary concerns and environmental issues. Driven by his love of Life, Family and Architecture, today, with his business partner Mark Harris, he has been the design lead for literally hundreds of construction projects, from room additions to multi-million dollar mixed-use/multifamily projects, and from cabins to churches and everything in between.
